Islamic Society of Augusta Calls for Respect for Human Life and End of Aid to Parties Engaged in Violations of Human Rights and International Law
The Islamic Society of Augusta, Georgia (ISA) extends sympathies to the most recent victims of violence in territories controlled by the State of Israel, regardless of their religious or ethnic affiliation. It calls for an immediate ceasefire to arrange for an exchange of prisoners, including the unconditional and immediate release of minors all parties have in their custody.
The Islamic Society of Augusta rejects actions which place the lives of non-combatants in jeopardy, whether they be with weapons, sanctions or movement restrictions.
The Islamic Society of Augusta calls for the United States to cease aid in all its forms to the State of Israel and the Palestinian Authority until those parties conform to international law as described in United Nations Resolutions specific to the region and as described in other covenants of international law.
The ISA calls on media to cease its dehumanization of Palestinians. While this takes place in numerous ways, by far the greatest dehumanization is ignoring the sufferings of Palestinians until a Palestinian kills an Israeli, giving the impression that all is well until an Israeli is harmed.
