Candidate Visit to the Muslim Community
The Islamic Society of Augusta does not endorse any party or candidate. However, as a service to our members we give the opportunity to candidates to meet with the Muslim community to explain their platform and to allow members of our community to ask them questions about the issues important to them.
American Muslims are integral part of our country and their voices must be heard. Politicians and candidates should identify the importance of the Muslim vote. This will be achieved only when a large number of our community participate in such visits and forums.
GA State School Superintendent Democratic candidate Otha Thorton will be visiting ISA on Tuesday, October 23rd at 7:15pm.
We are looking forward for positive participation and healthy exchange with the candidate to understand his platform.
Please note that ISA welcomes visits from all parties if they are interested in visiting us.
