Dale White, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Social Work at Augusta State University. His talk is about our own wellness and how to live a physically and spiritually healthy life.
Following is a brief outline of his talk.

Wellness: The Art of Achieving Balance

The concept of wellness, for our purposes, refers to one’s ability to maintain relative balance, while living in a society with multiple demands. Wellness includes, but is not limited to, mindfulness of one’s daily life in terms of its physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects. In this context, social aspects refer to social relationships within family, occupational, and community contexts. Wellness entails both caring for the self and caring for others, as appropriate, in a holistic and realistic manner.
