Lifting the Veil on Islam – Session 7 – The Abrahamic Faiths

The Abrahamic Faiths – Thursday January 12th at 7:00 PM

Islam is considered as the continuation of God’s message since Adam (peace be upon him). Abraham was the father of the prophets in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The Quran states:

  1. 285    The Messenger believes in what was sent down to him from his Lord, as do the believers. Each believes in God, His angels, His books, and His messengers. “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and obey. Thy forgiveness, our Lord! and unto Thee is the journey’s end.”

Join us to learn the Similarities and the differences between these religions and the importance of mutual understanding and cooperation between people of faith.

Map to Secondary Entrance during road construction

Main Entrance from Riverwatch  Pkwy extension

Secondary Entrance from Old Evans Rd.

Due to construction on Old Evans Rd, the main entrance to the Islamic Community Center of Augusta has become difficult to see/use.  The main entrance can be accessed only if traveling South-East bound on the new Riverwatch Parkway extension by taking a right turn just after the concrete road dividers just before the intersection with Blue Ridge Parkway and Old Petersburg Rd.  It will be easier to access the Islamic Community Center using the secondary entrance which is located South-East of the Circle K gas station (after a small house).

Note, the secondary entrance is not paved where it connects with Old Evans Rd.
